Public records and private requests

OwesGov displays historical PPP loan data published by the SBA. Removal request contact details and administrator account information are separate from public loan listings. Request contact details and administrative audit histories are not displayed in those listings.

Corrections and removals

Use the removal form to request listing removal. For corrections, email [email protected] with the company URL or loan number, the disputed field, and supporting information. Avoid sending sensitive identity or financial documents unless specifically needed and requested.

Administrators review and apply changes. Corrections and deletion instructions persist separately and can be reapplied after source data reloads. Updates may take time to process. Changes here do not change SBA or lender records, other websites, or previously collected copies.

Retention and access

Request details, processing history, administrator account information, and correction audit records persist across deployments. The application currently has no automatic expiry for request and audit records. Deletion instructions prevent removed listings from returning after reloads. Public listing removal does not automatically delete its request history.

Administration requires an authorized account; passwords are stored as hashes. These controls reduce risk but cannot guarantee complete security.
